The Open Zone hosts the SLYMS project
Under the SLYMS Program, the Starclassic Radio online radio (www.starclassic.gr) performs a series of broadcasts titled “Open Zone in Socio-Cultural Youth Learning”.
The broadcasts host Institutions, Universities, Teachers and Researchers inside and outside Greece on non-formal and informal education, the Multilingual Festival of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, the intercultural organization of learning, as well as the role of the municipality in the management of intangible resources and the organizing a more social and solidarity education.

Presentation of the SLYMS project based on the dynamics of Multilingual Celebrations
In the first hour show, Rea Mumtzidou, multilingual co-ordinator, and Yannis Kozaris, author of the SLYMS project, elaborate the main axes of the project and discussed the possibilities of non-formal and informal learning that can be developed through participation in social events such as celebrations multilingualism.
Discussion of the experience gained through the ethnographic study
In this second broadcast, Rea Moumtzidou, coordinator of the multilingual feasts, and Yannis Kozaris, author of the SLYMS project, discussed with Stelios Pantazidis issues of the ethnographic study that took place during the creation of the second intellectual product. The discussion unfolded around the experience gained during the ethnographic study.
Presentation of the 1st Congress of SLYMS at the University of Thessaly and the 7th Multilingual Festival of the Municipality of Thessaloniki
Hosted by the show is PhD candidate Stelios Pantazidis, who informs us about the conference “Young people on the move: Social integration through non-formal and informal education” organized by the University of Thessaly in Volos on 9-11 April under the SLYMS project , Mrs. Anta Fotopoulou, Head of the Department of Programs and Lifelong Learning of the Municipality of Thessaloniki and Mr. Barboukakis Alexandros, Deputy Mayor of Education and Culture of the Municipality of Thessaloniki, who inform us about the 7th Festival of Multilingualism to be held 13-19 May at City Hall of the Municipality of Thessaloniki.
